Launceston & North Cornwall Motor Club welcomes you to the 77th Tamar Trial to be held on Sunday 13th October 2024 catering for motorcycles, combinations, and cars.

The 2024 route will see competitors tackle sections around the Tamar Valley to begin with before crossing into West Devon, with our mid-trial rest stop this year at the Fox & Grapes in Lifton who are always extremely accommodating to us, before competitors head towards the coast and North Cornwall for the afternoon hills. Angel Steps, Park Impossible, Crackington are all planned favourites that will be familiar to competitors. We plan on some new hills too, including returning to a venue not used since the mid 1990s as we aim to make the trial appealing to all classes and competitors.

The start venue will again be at Proper Ansome Café in Launceston and the finish returns to the Wilsey Down pub, only a couple of miles from the last sections.

We hope you will join us on the 13th October and we look forward to offering you a good day’s trialling in a beautiful part of Devon and Cornwall.

The event is taking place at Trevilla Farm, Marshgate, Camelford, Cornwall, PL329YN (MR 190/145911)( what three words – STILTED.CURTAINS.DIGNITY) on the 25th of August.

This trial is non-damaging thanks to taking place in a flat grass field.

Scrutineering and signing on will commence at 10.45 am. All competitors must be signed on by 11.15 am and the first competitor starts at 11.30 am with a lunch break to follow after completing the morning rounds.

The event is open to all members of the Launceston & North Cornwall Motor Club Ltd and by invitation to members of Holsworthy, Camel Vale and Wind Whistle Motor Clubs. – who are fully paid up members for 2024. Competitors must be prepared to show the 2024 membership cards on request.

The Trial is taking place at the new venue of Winsdon Farm, Clubworthy nr Launceston PL158NX (MR 190/280908) WHAT3WORDS BARSTOOL.TRIBES.FOLLOWERS (Entrance to farm lane).

This is a non-damaging event which is taking place in a flat grass field and is suitable for road cars. Entries from Under 18s are especially encouraged.

The event is open to all members of the Launceston & North Cornwall Motor Club Ltd and by invitation to members of Holsworthy, Camel Vale and Wind Whistle Motor Clubs. – who are full paid up members for 2024. Note – Membership can be arranged on the day.

Entries are open immediately and close finally on Wednesday 17 July 2024. Late entries will not be accepted. Entries must be made on the correct form (or photocopy) and should be completed with the entry fee of £20.00 [Under 18 £8.00] and sent to Lisa Gregory.

The trial is taking place on Sunday 7th July 2024 at Winsdon Farm, Clubworthy, nr Launceston PL158NX (MR 190/280908) WHAT3WORDS BARSTOOL.TRIBES.FOLLOWERS (Entrance to farm lane ).

Entry is open to fully elected members of:
Launceston & North Cornwall Motor Club, Camel Vale Motor Club, Holsworthy Motor Club,
Windwhistle Motor Club and registered contenders in the qualifying ASWMC Championship.

Entry for the event is open from today and closes finally on Wednesday 3 July 2024.

The entry cost is £27 for all competitors.

This Trial is a qualifying round of the 2024 ASWMC Sporting Trials Championship.

Welcome to the 38th running of the Launceston Trial, we invite you to join us on Sunday 3rd March. The trial will again run in its popular format as a single venue trial held in Lew & Eastcott Woods, Near Lewdown (approx. 10 miles from Launceston). As always, we hope to introduce some new sections and variations of previous sections. There will be a port-a-loo on site, and the popular on-site catering will be in attendance again.

The event is taking place on Sunday the 20th of August 2023 at Trevilla Farm Marshgate Camelford Cornwall PL329YN. What three words- STILTED.CURTAINS.DIGNITY and will consist of a number of observed tests. Marks will be awarded for completion of each test or section correctly as well as times taken where appropriate. There will be a number of tests and rounds dependent on time and size of entry.
